Amber graduated from the dental assisting program at IPFW in 1997. She enjoys working in the dental field and getting to know new patients. Amber started at Woodburn Family Dentistry in September 2018 as the doctor’s dental assistant. She grew up in Auburn and now lives in Spencerville with her husband and 3 children. She enjoys running, biking and spending time with her family.
Courtney graduated from Wayne Trace High School in Haviland, OH. She went on to study dental assisting at the Toledo Dental Academy. When she graduated from the program in 2008, she started her career in the dental field. Courtney started at Woodburn Family Dentistry in 2019 as the business assistant. She lives in Payne, OH with her high school sweetheart and two daughters. They enjoy camping at Marble Lake on the weekends. Courtney states “I really enjoy working in Woodburn and seeing all the familiar faces!”
Karen began her assisting career while attending Vantage Vocational Facility in 1985. In 1987 she graduated from the IPFW Assistant Program. She then later received additional training for expanded functions. Caring for patients and helping them understand and obtain their best individualized treatments is her highest priority. Karen started at Woodburn Family Dentistry in 2012 and enjoys working in a small community with the family-type atmosphere it brings. She and her husband have two adult children. Karen enjoys riding on local bike trails with her husband Dan, as well as spending quality time with friends, family and her grandchildren.
Sarah is a 2004 graduate of Leo High School. She went on to dental hygiene school at IPFW and graduated in 2008. For 12 years, Sarah has worked at Woodburn Family Dentistry protecting and helping patients keep their smile healthy. “I have loved growing to know my patients in a small town community while also educating and providing great oral care.” Sarah resides in Ohio with her husband and 2 year old daughter. She loves spending time with her family, reading and baking.
